    About KV Bhandara, Maharashtra

    Kendriya Vidayalaya of Bhandara was established in the year 1972 with a noble aim of providing quality education to the children of employees of the Ordnance Factory Jawaharnagar, Bhandara and nearby areas KV Bhandara is the only Institute of its kind in the district with about 1152 boys and girls bubbling with energy. The school provides a child centered education, full of opportunities to foster the spirit of learning in the true sense. It is set on a lush green campus. This three section school offers classes from Balvatika III to XII.

     

    Students at Kendriya Vidyalaya OF Bhandara have ample opportunities to participate in a variety of activities. The school takes part in games, sports and various competitions organized locally and at the Inter KV level by the KVS. These activities include Mathematics Olympiad. Green Olympiad, National Level Essay and Painting Competitions, Youth Parliament, Adventure Activities, Educational Tours. Exhibitions and Bharat Scout and Guides.

     

    The School has a thriving Kho-KHO players who are champion in U-14 Boys Kho-Kho event at regional level and set to go for National Level Tournament at Ahmadabad. Two students are selected for Badminton and Chess for National Level Competition.

     

    The school took part in Youth Parliament at Regional Level in 2023-2024 with securing 3r position in Mumbai Region. This year also a contingent of 55 students have taken part in Youth Parliament at Mumbai.

     

    The Vidyalaya embraces modern education technologies, using tools such as LED Panels, computers. LCD projectors and interactive boards with internet facilities to prepare students for life in the 21st century. There are two equipped computer laboratories, one Audio Visual Room, one English Language Lab, Toy Library and a wi-fi campus.

     

    All teachers at the Vidyalaya are trained to be proficient in using modern technological aids, including computers and the internet. The facilitate technology-aided projects, helping students acquire essential 21st century skills.
